Architectural neighbours #2 – behind Drummond St

Behind the rather noble facades along Drummond St in Carlton  there is a happy jumble of mismatched windows, faded render, perfunctory stairs and iron sheeting, serviceable brick chimneys and pipework.

The group of buildings from the tradesman’s side, feels more like a lively family compared with the stern well-dressed faces along the street.
