Istanbul – colour, light and texture

Here is a distraction of colour, light and textures from my recent visit to Istanbul (while I battle with the last paragraph on the final Bandung to Bali chapter for Book II – obviously this is nothing like a real battle as later posts will show.)

    • Hi Hilary
It was a wonderful experience for the senses.Even the touristy areas are still filled with lots of beautiful crafts and even contemporary textiles and not just racks of silly Tshirts and trinkets. Sadly when I got to Cannakale the old bazaar there was just full of cheap stuff and only one small stall sold local pottery.
